To satisfy your family’s involvement obligation for the school year you must complete:
1. One “A” Category; or
2. Two “B” Categories, or
3. Five “C” Categories, or
4. Twenty “D” Categories, or
You may combine activities from different categories to reach the $200 credit.

Category A:($200.00 Involvement Fee Credit – Year long commitment)
JOB NAME JOB DESCRIPTION
One Market Day Chair Coordinate monthly Market Day Fundraiser to
include but not limited to: distribute flyers, place
orders, coordinate set-up and clean-up
One Market Day Co-Chair Coordinate helpers, distribute order forms, reminder
flyers, newsletters and bulletins
Gym Aides Assist with K, 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade classes
Choose Monday, Wednesday or Friday. Help with setting up
equipment, supervising skills drills and with small groups
Five Library Aides M-F…either 9-11 am or 12-2pm (no Thursday pm)
(time to be worked out with Librarian) Assist with logging
in/out books, file returned books
Computer Aides Assist with K thru 1st grade during class period
Computer Consultant Develop and implement computer technology and regularly
maintain school computers and printers
SJE Webmaster Maintain school website for the school year
Art Aides Assist with K thru 2nd –choose T or TH for one hour
Assist with cutting paper, use of laminator, make
copies et al
First Grade Reading Aides 2 volunteers needed every school day from 9:30-11:15 am.
Listen to children read books.
First Grade Math Aides 4 volunteers needed every Friday from 1:00-2:00pm
Assist with math centers
Music Aide Assist with K on Thursdays 1:40-2:10 pm. Help with
vocalizing and song memorization
Athletic Director Organize sports program, coordinate gym rental,
uniforms, fundraising and promotion of sports program
Sports Committee Concessions Coordinator

Room Parent Mandatory attendance on the following days:

Category C: ($40.00 Involvement Fee Credit – Single Event Commitment)
Market Day Helper Set up, distribute food and clean up on sales dates
Phone calls, set up, clean up (Approximate 3 hours)
Santa’s Workshop Assist with sale activities on day of event
(i.e. wrap gifts et al)
Science Fair Assist with preparation of student Science Fair
or be a judge (cannot be 6th, 7th, or 8th grade parents)
Volleyball Scorekeeper Keep score for one night, 3 games for families without a child
participating in volleyball or 6 games for families with
a child participating in volleyball
Concession Sales One game night for families without a child
participating in the sports program. Participant families
required selling concessions for one game night as their
commitment to the sports program. Participant families
that exceed the minimum will earn “C” for each additional
game night in which they sell concessions
Pack the Place Volunteer Assist in hosting Pack the Place events during
basketball season. Duties could include selling
refreshments, selling raffle tickets, taking admission
money and help with halftime activities for our Tiger fans.
Must be available from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. on the night of the events.
Category D: ($10.00 Involvement Fee Credit-Single Event Drop-Off Commitment)
Baker Bake for school sponsored event. Minimum of
3 dozen items.
Additional Involvement Categories will be announced as they become available.
Signing up for a category DOES NOT GUARANTEE that you will be called to serve in
that function. Please sign up for any areas you are interested in. CHECK WEDNESDAY
NOTES for further information. Please confirm your Involvement on Family Payment Day
or by contacting Sister Zachary. Remember, ALL volunteers MUST complete a Criminal
Background Check, attend a Virtus Training and complete a DCFS form and Code of
Conduct BEFORE you can volunteer.
