2010-2011 Dress Code for Girls and Boys K-8
The dress code is traditional with Catholic education and a form of
discipline to which all students are expected to adhere. While fads and fashion
to dress change regularly, the school is committed to keeping to these
traditional standards. Students are to arrive to school in full uniform . The
uniform is to be neat and clean in their appearance at all times.
The school handbook will list in detail the complete dress code
and the disciplinary action for not following the dress code.
The new modified changes in the uniform are the following: (to help with
shopping before you receive the updated school handbook with your book day
packet )
Girls/Boys Socks for K-8 - Solid colored ankle
length socks coordinating with the uniform
(NO SHOW SOCKS WILL NOT BE PERMITTED) white,
black, gray, burgundy, or navy blue - Your Choice.
Girls/Boys Shoes for K-8 - Plain dress or athletic
shoes coordinating with the uniform
(NO HIGH TOP GYM SHOES WILL BE PERMITTED)
solid white, black, gray, burgundy or navy blue (combinations
of white/black, gray/white, black/gray, gray/burgundy, navy blue/white)
- Your Choice.
Girls/Boys Belts for K-8 - Belts
are to be worn with dress pants and dress shorts (the
blouse or polo shirt MUST be TUCKED in at ALL TIMES.
(The belts must be plain black, navy blue, or brown - nothing
fancy with ornate buckles.)
Boys’ K-8 hair styles must be off the forehead, above the collar, and off the
ears. Hair styles must be neat/clean in appearance. NO ERRATIC STYLE HAIRCUT
WILL BE ALLOWED (punk, spiked, tailed, non-naturally colored or grooved).
Girls’ K-8 hair styles must be above the eyebrows and not in the eyes. Hair
styles must be neat/clean in appearance and natural colored hair (kerchiefs,
headbands, or other ornaments in the hair are not part of the dress code).
If the students follow the rules they will be rewarded with extra Dress Down
Days.
