Pastor’s Report · - The new pastor for St. John will be Fr. Ted Schmitt. He is very excited to be here and can’t wait to start in July. He spent a day at school on Friday, April 30. He had the opportunity to visit with all classes individually. Fr. Bob is pleased with the new priest, who has met all the staff, and believes it will be an easy transfer of leadership. There will definitely be changes coming with a new leadership. However, these changes should be gradual. · - Father Bob’s farewell mass will be on June 12 at the 4:30 mass. A tent has been set up for the farewell reception after the mass. Everyone is welcomed to attend. The event will be catered by Father Bob’s cousin. · - Next day Sunday, Father Bob will be officiating at all masses and there will also be coffee and cake after each mass.
