ABOUT THE TEACHER

Hi, my name is Nancy Lackinger and I am teaching 4th grade.  I have been with St. John the Evangelist since the 1998-1999 school year, when I was the 8th grade teacher.  The next year I moved to 4th grade where I have been ever since.

I received my Bachelors of Science in Education from Illinois State University.  My husband, John, and I have 2 sons, who are graduates of St. Hubert School.  Our eldest son has since received his degree from Purdue University and our youngest will receive his from Northern Illinois University.

I believe that the key to a good education is co-operation between parents, students, and teacher.  I encourage students to do their best and to ask questions if they do not understand, this includes parents.  I look forward to a wonderful year.
