Dear Visitor,

Welcome to the website of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Community in Streamwood, Illinois!  The pictures you are viewing are of our main worship space, which was dedicated in 2002 and our Catholic school whose motto is Faith In Every Student. 

God has blessed us with a wonderful parish, one filled with people of diverse ages, backgrounds, resources and interests.  As we continue to faithfully embrace the spirituality of Stewardship, both as individuals and as a community, we look to one another for support and fellowship.

Parishioners willing to give of their time, talent and treasure form the foundation on which we have built a parish community over a span of the last forty-four years.  It is a community ever vigilant in its quest to listen to and act on the promptings of the Holy Spirit. 

We come to the Table of the Lord as a community of believers celebrating our differences and focusing on our understanding that Jesus is the center of and the reason for our existence.

We hope that this website will encourage you, if you are not a parishioner, to explore the many gifts St. John the Evangelist Catholic Community has to offer you and, if you are a parishioner, to become more aware of the many events and services that are available throughout the year in your parish.
